Box lacrosse, also known as indoor and sometimes shortened to boxla or simply box, is an indoor version of lacrosse.
Box lacrosse is like field lacrosse, but usually played inside a hockey rink. The nets are smaller and the goalies take up most of the net with their gear, so scoring takes a lot of skill. It also differs from field lacrosse because it is played 6v6. A team consists of 5 runners, 1 goalie and it is faster paced, more hitting and players can move anywhere they wish on the floor.
